Leaning into everything

You look bored dear, in need of cheer.  Your mind’s been racing with these dreams you’ve been chasing.  Picturing perfection to the point of preoccupation has done its damage.  Did you hear that?  The drag in your walk is like nails on a chalkboard.  Pick up your feet friend.  Please.  A victim to scoliosis it seems you’ve become.  When you stand for nothing you lean into everything.  Let it go.  It was wrong.  You were wrong.  Let it go.  Paint a new view.  Imagine something different than you’ve ever become accustomed to.  If He can create, then you can at least envision.  Allow yourself to see.  Let yourself be free.  Push past insecurity.  Reign over fear and then my dear…then…who even knows.
