the winter of our discontent…

the winter of our discontent…

She’s tired and wants to go home.  She’s grown weary of introduction after introduction and deeply desires to settle in and begin building something she’s envisioned.  This mood will pass and she’ll continue with the flow as most children do, but the desire lingers until it can be fulfilled.  Its not just about love, but about freedom and fruition.  She dreams, she hopes…she’s always filling empty space.  Unafraid of silence, when alone no words are uttered.  She’s moving and waiting…desires at rest, yet present and obvious.  She’s obedient and restless, displaying contentment, yet hopeful for more…so much more.

Hold fast to dreams,

For if dreams die

Life is a broken-winged bird

That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams,

For if dreams go,

Life is a barren field

Frozen with snow.

(Dreams by Langston Hughes)
