a lighter shade of green…

“Leaders can’t afford to make fools of themselves…lest, “hung over”, they don’t know right from wrong, and people who depend on them are hurt.” (Prov. 31:4-5 msg)

Its time to sober up.  Everyone is watching you.  Everyone is witnessing how you will walk this path out.  Did you not know how they watch you?  Did you think you were still hidden in the corner behind your insecurities?  You are now on display…rise to the challenge.  Your choices echo in their hearts for extended periods of time.  Your choices effect each individual under your care.  This is flattering and frightening at the same time.  But you are more than capable.  Do you not know your capabilities?  Do you not know your position?

When you began, you were frightened, but you rolled up your sleeves and began the journey.  Have you not sensed the worth of your work?  When you speak, do you know that you have something worthwhile to say?  How rare is kindness, yet you make it appear simple.

I came here for a reason…don’t deny me.  I didn’t come just to lend you my high resolution.  I came to carry this vision out.  I came to come alongside.  Make room for me and your load will feel so much lighter.  Put away the extra distractions and move forward as planned.  Receive me as a gift and nurture this vision with all that you have been given.

“It’s the men who walk straight who will settle this land, the women with integrity who will last here.” (Prov. 2:21 msg)
